Today’s news from work:
Now I also managed the second week at Scandinavian Image.
I am looking forward to seeing Jay today, as he will arrive at around 23pm.
And I got my own computer today and also my own email adress and stuff…pretty cool, he.
Today we visited the Grand Hotel for a sight inspection and of course we also saw the Nobel Suite, where our good old US president Barack Obama stayed, uhhhhh ya I know !!!!
All nobel prizes will be assigned in Stckholm, Sweden except the Nobel Peace Prize that is assigned in OSLO at Grand Hotel. Mr. President didn’t sleep there due to unsufficient security reasons, but he was in THE room, as well as Nelson Mandela and other renowned personalities.
The room Itself was very old room, you could smell it and not that modern anymore, but the hotel doesn’t want to refurbish it, because it is characterized with all this historic moments and memories.
Furthermore I’ve sent out my third own offer, which was actually a big one, to clients; and got already my fourth request =)
Ahh and by the way I received my company assignment from my supervisor. I should research the Dutch market to extend the market share, therefore it is important to know everything about their booking behaviour, favorite destinations, expenses, length of stay and so on and so on…
That’s gonna be my after-work duty when I don’t have my beloved guests around me.
But I am looking forward doing it (that’s how I think about it NOW!) .
Further plans for the following two weeks: sightseeing Oslo, tobagganing in Holmenkollen, weekend trip to Bergen, and weekend trip to Lillehammer for the ice hotel and bobsledging.
